An African bird
Nightjars sit on dirt roads to stay warm from retained heat and to spot insects. The open, flat surface helps them catch insects attracted to warmth and light.
Similarly, the NightJarr team thrives on innovation and adaptability, leveraging insights and strategic thinking to capture opportunities in the ever-evolving digital landscape. Plus, the extra 'R' meant the .com domain was available :)
Some history
NightJarr was founded in 2019 after Ferdie Bester and his team sold ClickMaven to Jellyfish, a global UK-based agency.
Initially a consulting platform, it evolved after the pandemic as Ferdie collaborated with talented remote digital marketers, forming a dynamic and skilled team.
These senior marketers sought flexibility, autonomy, and opportunities to work on world-class international projects.
Today
Fast forward five years, and NightJarr has grown into a team of 13 senior specialists based in locations like Johannesburg, Cape Town, Riebeek-Kasteel (an incredible habitat for chickens) and Halifax.
